In other news,
Rumor has it an Amarrian Vengeance pilot passed through Huola today on his way to Kourm...... Reports of 12 shared Gallente/Minmatar intel channels started flashing simultaneously cannot be confirmed nor denied at this time.

+1 this even without anyone talking about a "headshot"
Also, if it wasn't a serious attempt to take Huola then why did AVNG implode?
AVNG imploding has nothing to do a headshot. In fact lets be clear the only reason people even brought up the whole 'failed to headshot' thing was to demoralize the attackers. Let's face it and give into the facts no one knew exactly how long the Amarr were going to stay or how long burn houla was going to last.
The minmatar were so desperate to latch onto any type of moral victory that someone was even taunting the amarr for not taking the system fast in enough.
As in 'HaHa you didnt take it in a week you failed go home now so I can spin ships in peace and mission with my alt.'
Did burn Huola fail in it's original goal? Yes
Did it fail because of the leet combined forces were to strong? No.
Did it deliver some epic content that will be remembered for a very long time to come? Yes.
In the end of the day people can say whatever they think but the only reason Huola is still Minmatar today is lack of cordination.
Oh and the whole 'if you didnt mean to headshot it why did you plex it up so hi the first few days?" argument?
It's not our fault the Minmatar had to wait for reinforcements before finally acting.
So many Amarr pilots were bored out of their brains for PvP and at a moments notice Everyone was in for taking Huola for the pew, even Almity resubbed for the event.
Bottom line:
1-Minmatar leadership cry and complain about lack of PvP but can't be bothered to jump a gate or two so someone had to 'bring it to them'
2-For someone so 'starved' for PvP the minnies sure as hell tried their hardest to claim some kind of victory all throughout the campaign to just 'make it all go away'
3-If you really want to know who was starved for pvp and who was shaking in their boots just see how many Amarr poses went up and how many 'screams for allies' went up at the same time.
4-GF everyone Liaison Officer -->Check Out Amarrian Vengeance History https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=352629&find=unread

More at 11. In other news Amarr Militia continues its fail cascade as Biohazard retreat to NPC Null and drop militia - taking over 100 of the Empresses pilots with them. The impact of operation Burn(out) Huola continues to reverberate around the WZ...
yay, what a sigh of relief, now we can all go back to the important business of sitting in a station doing nothing or chasing stabbed farmers.

Crosi Wesdo wrote:Stalking Mantis wrote:Did it fail because of the leet combined forces were to strong? No. Its amazing how you cant even correctly answer a question you posed yourself. Why bother with the spin? You dont even really have a corp to PR for. The actual bottom line is, at least most of the minnies live in a fw system.
While I'm sure the few days you spent in Huola burning off the actual engagements in your 7kms Maulus/Keres makes you an absolute expert on the inner politics and wheelings and dealings of the Amarr, hey it might even substitute for actually being on the comms for all the amarr command meetings, call me crazy but I'm going to go with what I actually saw and heard on this one.
Also speaking of my 'corp', you do spend alot of time putting it down here again and again, do I detect some subconscious hostility ? maybe even some kind of sour grapes syndrome?
Anyway do pardon my lack of enthusiasm for EVE and FW anymore, it was a great time logging into EVE and jumping straight into a 20 or 30 vs 30 fight while it lasted.
While burnout might be a factor yes, I just hate the fact that now it's back from non stop epic fleet fight brawls in Huola to chasing the minnie and gallente alts from plex to plex or waiting for the terribad local pirates stack up on a gate next door and send an incursus into my plex. It's so meh.
As for Amarrian Vengeance....well...for now...the Angels sleep....like they always do after a huge campaign. Maybe they will be back, maybe they wont. Who knows.

Crosi Wesdo wrote: Im just making accurate counter points to the unjustified relevance you seem to place on what was obviously a fragile corp more known for its actions in the local chat window than anywhere else.
As for the amarr, are you telling me im mistaken that they live outside FW? Ducking the best conflict driver we have then complaining there is no combat is amusing.
You'll get a chance to do alot of ducking real soon yourself I assure you. Liaison Officer -->Check Out Amarrian Vengeance History https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=352629&find=unread

You know that though.... personal axe to grind still?
They deployed in south placid (after abandoning the amarr militia). The nearest hotspot being Intaki 2 jumps out which hosted ferocious battles between Val Erian and Drama Ragearion which were pretty much all that was happening around there. AFAIK JUSTK, much smaller back then, evicted them single-handedly, though im not sure because i didnt even know they were there at the time as was mainly carting caps around on silly ganks.
There it is,,,,,the plot thickens.....care to regal us some more about your initial meetings with AVNG and Damar in the Itanki/Placid area.
I'm sure the readers would love to hear about that one. Liaison Officer -->Check Out Amarrian Vengeance History https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=352629&find=unread

/me hands him the doll.... I dont remember, i only ever had this toon down there once for a great fight with saian steel in which i lost a dd to his hawk after he managed to get out the first time and refit to counter. Other than that i was just running like 4 alts with no guns capping plexes. I was quite happy when there were 3 actual players blocking plexes, was always clearly broken but while the sun shines and all that. But when there were less than 3 id just make sure the one that was free was being run :) There were lots of other systems to plex (no limit on overplexing back then), but i found it more amusing to give damar something to deplex when he logged on. Since i was most likely sat on a titan bridge or waiting to undock a dread it was really not a big deal. Made some good intaki isk back then either way :)
Close enough. I'll just leave it at that by adding all your alts were watchlisted and constantly hounded by AVNG. Hope that explains your whole 'AVNG forum vendetta' to the average reader.
-Cheers
